Years of Experience and Proven Results
Whether you are looking to start learning a new instrument or wanting to continue developing your existing skills, Anthem have a tutor for you. Our team travel so that you can learn in the comfort of your own home or lessons can be arranged in a home studio environment.
Lessons are available in electric/acoustic guitar, vocals, drums, bass and keyboard. You can study with us to sit graded exams or just play for fun and focus on any style of music you want.
Anthem currently teaches over 1,000 students every month from the age of 4 upwards. It’s never too late to start learning as we have many adult students who have developed a new found hobby and discovered a passion for music. Private lessons are a great way to progress your playing in a focused environment. Many students ask us how many lessons they need before they can play. The answer is simple: in the lessons, we will provide you with all the tools you need to become a great musician. It just depends how great you want to become and how many tools you want to learn. Music is a life long adventure where there’s always something new to discover. Having a tutor gives you goals and deadlines which motivates you to practice so you’re ready for your next lesson and ready to progress onto the next stage of your journey.
What To Expect
All of our tutors are fun, friendly and passionate about playing music. Your first lesson will be a relaxed introduction to find out in which areas you would like to progress. In every lesson you will cover a variety of aspects from technical exercises, scales and music theory to learning your favourite songs, recording and improvising. You will help design your own course by the things you would like to learn alongside our guidance and recommendations for the best way for you to progress. Lessons can be technically demanding with the view to getting great exam results/preparing for an upcoming performance. Or they can be a relaxing hobby, showing you the best way to make the most of your instrument/voice.
