Students work their way up from playing in front of teachers and class mates through to playing in front of a concert audience. This develops their confidence and boosts their self-esteem when they showcase the brilliant achievements they have made.
Joining a musical group at any age encourages you to develop relationships with new types of people. It also develops skills in leadership and team building.
Music keeps you calm. It has a unique effect on our emotions, and has even been proven to lower heart rate and blood pressure.
Many studies show a correlation between musical training and academic success, in both children and adults. Learning to play an instrument stimulates the brain, improving functions like memory and abstract reasoning skills.
Practising and perfecting a piece of music does wonders for the creative side of your brain. When you play a song written by a band but you inject your own personality into the performance, that is what makes watching a performer more interesting.

We have everything you need to get started at our music schools. Just bring yourself and we will get you up and running and ready to rock!
Do I need an instrument?
Our small group classes are a brilliant way to learn an instrument in a social setting. The groups are based on age and ability. Students will work together on songs and will also have individual practise/feedback time to progress through course books.
Our Mini Musicians classes are aimed at age 3-5 as a perfect way to introduce kids to music lessons through fun rhythm games and singing.

How do group lessons work?
What age can I start learning?
Our lessons are designed to make sure that you have fun on your instrument. We make sure that you are playing along to music straight from your first lesson! Our classes follow dedicated course books so that you always know what to practise between lessons. All students have the option to gain musical qualifications with us if they choose to sit an exam.

We Teach Piano Drums Guitar & Singing
Our music school is located approximately 8 minutes from Worsley down on Monton Road. We have free parking at the back of the music school and there is free on street parking only a short walk away. We offer expert tuition to students of all ages and abilities. If you want to get your grades or just learn for fun, Anthem Music School in Monton will show you everything you need to know!
